Ophelia: Staff Orientation Day, Camp Myrtlewood (Day -1)

This is my first year as a staffer at camp, and my 7th official time going to this wonderful place.
I woke up before the sun rose, too excited to sleep even after my long travel just yesterday. i wandered down the pathway to the lodge as the morning fog hung heavy over the field. i had deeply missed this site.
throughout the day i was tasked with doing the setup for the campers arrival: hanging up schedules, making signs, and setting up rosters for hiking! i have the absolute pleasure of working with two of my friends on jr staff this year, beck and kai. i am deeply glad to have such a wonderful team this year.
I am the logistics angel this year! which means it is my job to help campers out with anything logistical, like if they forgot their cabins, or forgot their toothbrush at home. i also get tasks like picking up the mail, helping sell merch, ringing the bell (our way of keepingtrack of time at camp), and many many other things.
i am deeply excited to meet all of the new campers, and see all of the old ones.
this is about to be an amazing year of camp.
