NBTSC T-shirt design contest

Fame and fortune await! Ever since 1997 we’ve had official T-shirts designed by campers, and we look forward to another great one. Guidelines:

• Send your design as a jpg or pdf file or on a sheet of 8 ½ ” x 11” paper.
• It should be printed in black only.
• The design must include the words “Not Back to School Camp 2010.” ("NBTSC" is not enough -- please spell out "Not Back to School Camp.")
• We encourage you to incorporate a small but legible signature into your design -- whatever version of your name you'd like: full name, or first name and last initial, etc. Although we announce the name of the designer at all sessions of camp -- most emphatically those sessions where she or he is present -- a signature helps create a permanent reminder.
• You can make color suggestions (T shirt color and 1 ink color), but even if we choose your design we may not choose your color suggestions. (You are welcome to send one version in simple black on white and also a color version to show your color suggestions.)
• Artwork does not have to be completely original, but if you’re using clip art it must be copyright-free (like a lot of computer clipart and the designs in the Dover design library). Also, the overall design must be original. That is, as long as the design as a whole is yours, it can be assembled from other people’s copyright-free stuff.
• Tell us what adult unisex T shirt size(s) you want if your design is chosen, because the winner gets 2 free shirts. (We typically use American Apparel T shirts, in case you want to look into their sizing.)
• The postmark (or email) deadline for designs is June 1.
• It’s fine to send as many designs as you want.
• Be sure to include your full name with all entries. If you're submitting paper designs, please make sure that your full name is writtne legibly on the same paper (probably in small print in a corner). If sending via email, make sure you've included your full name in the subject line and/or in the body of the message.
• The contest is open to campers signed up for this year’s NBTSC.
• Our decision will be based on overall impact and relevance to NBTSC. The winning design will be used for all sessions of camp.
  

The prize is $50 plus 2 T-shirts and a moment of glory. All entries become the property of NBTSC and will not be returned.
