Dogwood cabin
New campers at Oregon Session 2 should know a little bit about Dogwood cabin. Dogwood has an upstairs room and a downstairs room—usually one room is assigned to girls and the other to boys, but this varies. There is also a lounge area next to the downstairs room, and this lounge is open to the whole camp community during the day and (as long as it’s all working nicely) until (usually) somewhere between midnight and 2 a.m. At night, people use this space to play games, talk, etc. Some campers really like to be assigned to Dogwood, since they like to sleep right next door to (or just above) this lounge. But for people who like to get to bed early and have peace and quiet, it’s a bad match. Just something to keep in mind when enlightening us as to your cabin preferences.
